The Brighton Sunny Day events are organised by Brighton Solar Project, a non-profit organisation that is run by volunteers interested in promoting Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency on a Community Level as well as the broader aspects of Sustainability, from flicking a light switch off when leaving a room and household recycling to Eco-Architecture and Visions of Clean Zero-Emissions Self-Sufficient Communities off the grid.
The organisation is looking for answers to two important questions:
Why is our dependency on fossil fuels so strong that we are even prepared to go to war to secure supply?
Why do we continue to ignore what nature provides for us as clean, green, and renewable energy?
Planet-friendly technologies are maturing rapidly, and initial costs are falling every year.
